Electrolux Replacement Warranty


Bought an Electrolux Dishwasher at the Brick (model EWDW6505GS) in may 2009 for our new house. At the time of purchase I have got an extended warranty from the Brick. At the time of purchase the sale rep was all in for the extended warranty, if it breaks we will repair it, if it's a lemon you will get a new one etc. It was a floor model looked brand new to us there was not even a scratch on it. Got installed in August of 2009 after we moved in. Shortly after it became defective for the first time. The Warranty people came in and repaired it. Then in 2010 (July) it because defective again, they came by a repaired it again (2-3 weeks delay) then in late November of 2010, it broke again...got the part only in January. And finally in Feb of 2011 broken again....last 3 repairs for the same problem, the unit was leaking. After 3 weeks got a call from TransGlobal...the have authorize a replacement of the unit just go to the store....at the Store big surprise they only credit us 1238.00 the purchase price for the unit....the same unit now sales for 1999.00. Hey at the time of purchasing the extended warranty they was no word about the fact that the floor model was excluded from the replacement program and that we would only get the purchase price in credit. This is so malicious they got us into buying an extended warranty with a bunch of arguments and now that they got our money....they send us to hell ? Got in touch with the Store they are whiling to bring the price down to 1599.00 but still this is a 361.00$ that I do not have I'm trying to raise 4 kids, my wife is home sick for the last 2 months and with only one income I cannot afford this 361.00 plus tax. We originally purchased an extended warranty to protect us from such situations and we are now left alone.
